Songs from the Universe, Part 3

Overcoming Yourself?

Overcoming is all about overcoming your own mind.

The whole idea behind these two mindsets is to open one’s mind to what is happening and to show them clarity between the two mindsets. When you can see the two types of mindset, it allows you to choose between the two types of minds.

Here you can and should begin to ask yourself questions like,

“Are you on the mental journal moving towards Spiritual Peace with its wonderful highlights along the way?”

“Or are you moving towards Chaos with its drama and problems?”

If the road you chose and prefer is towards Spiritual Peace, then the journey for this road will call for a Strong Foundation.

Interestingly, the word Cosmology is derived from looking to the stars for answers. It is the seed of what we call astronomy. However, in addition to looking at the macrocosm of the universe above, we must look at the microcosmic universal mind within us.

Within this study, you can find the knowledge of the mind. It shows that the mind contains many levels of intellect. These are mastered by and led you toward two opposite directions - the Cosmos (order) and Chaos (disorder). The Cosmos, the Divine order set in motion by God Yahweh, leads one towards harmony, peace, and happiness. Chaos is the disorderly side causing drama, problems, all types of disharmony, unpleasantries, and ultimately unhappiness.

The cosmos, being the universe with vast galaxies, and more contain celestial or heavenly bodies. Celestial relates to Spiritual things and Heaven. God Yahweh is Spirit; therefore, spiritual things relate to things of and from God Yahweh. Heaven is the “Home of God Yahweh or Kingdom of God Yahweh." The Bible teaches that the Kingdom of God is inside of you. Luke 17:21 KJV. So, the Cosmos spoken of here is speaking of the mind that leads to Spiritual thinking and the Spiritual things of God Yahweh.

“The firmament” from the definition is relating to Heaven. It is defined as “to hold firmly to” something. The Hebrew word raqia to be supported by a firm or solid structure that will make you “solid and firm.” This word leads you to the root word dher- to hold firmly and support the custom, statute, Law of God Yahweh.

Suppose one does not have the tools and understanding needed to create and maintain the Firm Mind that helps them begin the climb towards Heavenly Spiritual Understanding. Well, they will find themselves in Chaos – (confusion, anarchy, turmoil, pandemonium, and disarray). They will be emerged in Carnality, things of the flesh. They will be lovers of the flesh, the physical, and material things. They will have a hard time getting past the carnal side in their thinking, in their speech, in their deeds, and in all actions. They will also just naturally pass this carnal thinking over to anyone who will listen and accept these thoughts in their minds. If one is not aware that they have a carnal mind, it is even worse. This mind will not bow to Yahweh, because they don't realize that they live in carnal chaos. Therefore, they cannot see themselves to change. Chaos leads to death.

“For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.”

~Romans 8:6-8 KJV

To protect yourself from Chaos, you need to prepare you some victuals so you can Passover the Rivers (thoughts of worry, problems, confusion, and chaos) Jordan, to go in to possess the land (mind), which Yahweh your God giveth you to possess it.

Victuals are the tools and foods to sustain life. The tools and food for the Firm Mind are the Laws, Statutes, Judgments, and Commandments of God Yahweh. When we study and get an understanding of these Laws, Statutes, Judgments, and Commandments, then add these to Yahweh’s Characteristics in the Divine Moral Attributes, and to this add Charity.

These become your recipe for creating a Firm Mind and for beginning your journey to Peace.

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

~Romans 12:2 KJV
