Entering the 26th Sabbath Gate

Part Five — The Mystery of Seven

We have arrived at the 26th Sabbath Gate, and something significant has happened in our journey. We are now standing at the halfway point of the 52 Sabbaths of this year. Twenty-five Gates are behind us, and twenty-six remain before us. But before we move forward, we must look at the number of this Gate itself, because once again, the Gate gives us a symbolic picture of the understanding we are preparing to receive.

The number 26 is the sum of and the bringing together of 20 and 6. We have encountered 20 before, but here it joins with something new, and together they give us the language for what this Gate is about.

20 — Kaph: The Open Hand

Kaph carries the imagery of the open hand—positioned to receive, hold, and possess what isgiven. Throughout this portion of our Sabbath journey, that image has become increasingly important because we have not been gathering information simply to know more. We have been opening ourselves to receive understanding.

There is a difference between being given information and actually receiving it. We can hear words without understanding what they mean. We can read Scripture repeatedly while never seeing what has been sitting before us. We can even possess knowledge without knowing how its individual pieces connect. To truly receive something means that what has been given has entered our understanding and become something we can recognize, comprehend, and use.

Open hands receiving spiritual Light beneath Kaph and Wav, illustrating receiving, holding, connecting, joining, and the connection between heaven and earth.
Kaph receives. Wav connects.

This is especially important as we enter Gate 26 because we have already received many pieces of the mystery of Seven. We have investigated Seven, oath, covenant, OTH—the sign, sacred time, The Sacred Full One, fullness, wholeness, Divine order, perfection, Seventh, and sevened. Each veil has given us another piece, but receiving the pieces is not the end of the process.

Eventually, we must connect what we receive.

And that brings us to 6.

6 — Wav: The Connection

Wav is the sixth letter of the Hebrew alphabet. In ancient Hebrew pictographic interpretations, Wav is associated with the image of a peg, hook, or nail—something used to fasten, secure, join, or connect one thing to another. The imagery, therefore, gives us an important concept for this Gate:

CONNECTION.

A connection brings separate things into a relationship. Something that appeared to stand on its own can suddenly be understood differently when we discover what it is connected to. One piece of information may tell us something, but when it joins another, a pattern can emerge that neither piece revealed on its own.

This is what we are preparing to do within the 26th Sabbath Gate.

KAPH + WAV

RECEIVING + CONNECTING

Our hands have been opened to receive, but now what we have received must be connected.

For the past several Sabbath Gates, we have been asking:

Why Seven?

That question took us much farther than we could have anticipated. Seven led us into oath. Oath led us into covenant. Covenant brought us back to the Sabbath. The Sabbath led us into OTH—the sign. The sign led us into sacred time. Seven then revealed itself as The Sacred Full One, bringing us into fullness, wholeness, Divine order, and perfection. And when we looked more deeply into Seventh, we uncovered the older concept of sevened—something divided or constituted according to Seven, while also carrying the ancient language of binding, oath, covenant, joining, and union.

These discoveries did not answer every question.

They created a new one.

At the end of the Fifth Veil, we returned to the familiar words of Genesis and realized that Scripture does not simply give us Seven. It does not stop with Seventh.

It gives us: THE SEVENTH DAY.

And once we uncovered the deeper concept contained within Seventh, another way of hearing those familiar words appeared before us:

THE SEVENED DAY.

That is where Gate 25 left us.

Now Gate 26 asks us to connect what we have received.

If Seven is The Sacred Full One, if Seventh carries the deeper concept of something being sevened, and if Scripture specifically identifies the Sabbath as the Seventh Day, then perhaps our question must become more precise.

We began by asking: Why Seven?

Now we must ask: WHY SEVEN DAYS?

Why did the Creation account unfold through Seven Days? Why is the Sabbath identified specifically as the Seventh Day? And what have we been reading every time we encounter the word Day without ever stopping to investigate what that word actually means?

That last question is particularly important.

Throughout this entire mystery, we have examined Seven. We have examined Seventh. We have examined sevened.

But one word has remained beside them almost unnoticed: DAY.

We have read it. We have spoken it. We have counted it. We have built our understanding of the Sabbath around it.

But have we ever stopped to ask: What is DAY?

Gate 26 is where the pieces begin to connect. Kaph opens the hand to receive. Wav joins what has been received so that the relationship between the pieces can finally be seen. And behind the final two veils, we are going to investigate the word that has been sitting beside Seven from the beginning.

We have spent this journey uncovering: Why Seven?

Now it is time to discover: WHY SEVEN DAYS?

The Sixth Veil begins here.

The Sixth Veil — What Is DAY?

We ended the Fifth Veil with a question that changed the direction of our investigation. After uncovering Seven, Seventh, and the deeper concept of sevened, we returned to a familiar expression in Scripture. We realized we still had one word we had never stopped to investigate: DAY.

We have spoken of the Seventh Day throughout this entire journey. We have counted days, distinguished the Seventh from the six that precede it, and identified the Sabbath as the Seventh Day. Yet we have spent considerably more time investigating Seven and Seventh than we have investigating the word that follows them.

So before we can understand the mystery of the Seventh Day, we need to ask a very basic question:

What is a DAY?

Most of us already have an answer. We think of a day as a measurement of time. We may think of twenty-four hours, morning and evening, sunrise and sunset, or the movement by which one calendar date passes into another. These ideas are so familiar that when Scripture says day, we rarely stop to question what the word itself means.

But throughout this investigation, we have learned not to allow familiarity to take the place of understanding. So once again, we will look at the word itself.

יוֹם — YOM — DAY

The Hebrew word translated as “day” is yom (Strong’s H3117). Yom has a broad range of usage in the Hebrew Scriptures. Yom is defined as originating from an unused root meaning “to be hot”. It can refer to a day, daytime, a particular time, an appointed period, or a span of time, depending upon its context. This immediately tells us something important: the Hebrew word itself is not restricted in every occurrence to one single measurement of twenty-four hours. Its meaning must be understood according to the way it is being used within the passage.

But knowing the lexical meanings of yom still leaves us with another question. We know what the Hebrew word can mean, but how does Genesis itself introduce DAY?

For that, we must allow the Creation account to speak.

Genesis records:

“And Elohim (God) said, Let there be light: and there was light. And Elohim (God) saw the light, that it was good: and Elohim (God) divided the light from the darkness. And Elohim (God) called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night.”Genesis 1:3–5

Read that final statement carefully:

“ELOHIM (GOD) CALLED THE LIGHT DAY.”

The word called is important. To call something in this manner is to give it a name, identify it, or designate what it is to be called. Genesis therefore tells us that Elohim (God) gave the Light a name, and that name is: DAY.

Let that sink in for a moment.

DAY is the name Elohim (God) gave to LIGHT.

The Sixth Veil revealing Light as Day, Hebrew Or, enlightenment, and the movement from darkness, formlessness, and void into Light and understanding.
Day is the name Elohim (God) gave to Light.

This reveal alone will blow your mind when you think about it. Just as you have a name, it has just been revealed to you that Light also has a name, and that name is Day. If you notice, the letter “D” is capitalized here in the scriptures. This is because it is Light’s proper name. So it begins with a capital letter, just like your name.

That distinction matters because a name identifies something, but the name itself does not necessarily explain the nature of the thing being named.

Suppose a man is named David. David is the man’s name, but if we want to understand who that man actually is—his character, his thoughts, what he knows, what he does, and what exists within him—we cannot learn all of that simply by investigating the name David. Thousands of men are named David. To understand this particular David, we must investigate the man who bears the name.

Or imagine a street named Fifth. Fifth identifies the street, but the name alone does not tell us what is on that street, where it leads, what occurs there, or what distinguishes it from another place called Fifth. Many cities may have Fifth Street, Fifth Avenue, or Fifth Boulevard. If we want to know what exists on a particular street, we must investigate the street itself, not simply its name.

The same goes for “Day”. Genesis gives us the same kind of distinction.

DAY is the name. LIGHT is what was named.

Therefore, if we want to understand what DAY reveals in the Creation account, our investigation cannot stop at the word Day. We must investigate the thing Elohim (God) named: LIGHT.

What Is LIGHT?

Genesis 1:3 introduces the Hebrew word: OR/UR — LIGHT

The Hebrew word “or”, Strong’s H216, means light and can carry the sense of illumination or brightness. The Hebrew Scriptures use the language of light physically, and it is also used in ways that extend far beyond physical illumination. Scripture associates Light with understanding, revelation, knowledge, truth, guidance, righteousness, and the ability to see what was previously unseen.

This is important because when many people hear the words “Let there be light,” they immediately picture the sun shining upon the earth. But within the sequence given in Genesis, this Light is not the sun or moon. The sun and moon have not yet appeared in the narrative when Elohim (God) says, “Let there be light.” They appear later in the Creation account.

So, what is the Light of Genesis 1:3?

That question requires us to look deeper.

The English word light can describe that which makes things visible, illumination, brightness, or a source of illumination. But light also gives us another familiar English word: ENLIGHTEN

To enlighten means to give light, but it also means to give knowledge, understanding, or insight; to illuminate the mind so that something previously unknown or unclear can be understood.

And from enlighten we receive: ENLIGHTENMENT

Enlightenment is the condition of having received greater knowledge, understanding, awareness, or illumination. Something that was previously obscure becomes clear. Something we could not understand becomes understandable. Something we could not see becomes visible to the mind.

This gives us a way to understand the concept of inner Light.

Inner Light is the illumination that occurs within us. It is the opening of understanding, the receiving of knowledge and wisdom, and the ability to perceive something at a level deeper than its outward physical appearance. Physical light allows the physical eye to see. Spiritual Light allows the inner person to see and understand.

Scripture itself gives us this relationship:

“The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.”Psalm 119:130

Notice what Scripture places together: LIGHT AND UNDERSTANDING.

The entrance of the Word gives Light, and that Light produces understanding. This is enlightenment in operation: something enters that enables us to understand what we could not understand before.

This is particularly important within the 26th Sabbath Gate. Kaph gave us the picture of the open hand prepared to receive, while Wav gave us the picture of connection. We are receiving knowledge, but knowledge becomes understanding only when we begin to see the connections within what has been revealed. What once seemed like separate pieces begins to form a recognizable pattern.

And this raises another important question.

Why was this Light needed?

Why does the Creation account begin with Elohim (God) calling forth Light? What condition existed that required illumination?

To answer that, we have to return to the condition of the earth before the Light was called forth.

Genesis begins:

“In the beginning Elohim (God) created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.”Genesis 1:1–2

Before “Let there be light,” Genesis places three conditions before us:

  • WITHOUT FORM

  • VOID

  • DARKNESS

These are not three words we should rush past.

The Hebrew expression translated as “without form and void” is tohu wa-bohu.

Tohu carries ideas such as formlessness, emptiness, waste, confusion, or chaos, while bohu carries the idea of emptiness, voidness, not having the necessary elements or parts.

The picture is of something not yet brought into its ordered, filled, completed state.

And then there is: DARKNESS.

Darkness is upon the face of the deep. There is no light to illuminate what exists. What exists has not yet been brought into the condition that the Creation process will ultimately reveal, order, fill, and establish.

Now look again at the movement we have been uncovering throughout the mystery of Seven.

What is without form must be brought into order.

What is void must be filled.

What is in darkness needs Light.

And suddenly, the language of The Sacred Full One begins appearing before us again. We have already investigated fullness, wholeness, Divine order, and perfection. Yet Genesis begins with a condition in which those things have not yet been manifested in their fullness.

The earth is without form. The earth is void. And darkness covers the deep.

This is the condition standing before us.

We now know that LIGHT was named DAY.

We have begun to understand what LIGHT means.

We have discovered the relationship between Light and enlightenment, and between Light and understanding.

But the Light has not yet entered the condition we have just uncovered.

The earth remains before us:

without form, void, and covered in darkness.

And then Elohim (God) speaks:

“LET THERE BE LIGHT.”

What happens when the Light enters the darkness?

That mystery waits behind the Seventh Veil.

The Seventh Veil — Unveiling the Seventh Day

The Sixth Veil left us standing before the condition of the earth described in Genesis: without form, void, and covered in darkness. We examined these words because they showed why Light was needed. Something was present, but it had not yet been brought into the order, fullness, and illumination that would unfold through the Creation process.

Then Elohim (God) speaks:

“And Elohim (God) said, Let there be light: and there was light.”Genesis 1:3

We have already discovered that this Light is much more than a word describing physical brightness. Light brings us into illumination, understanding, knowledge, revelation, and enlightenment. And because the Sixth Veil showed us that Elohim (God) called the Light DAY, we can now begin looking at the Creation process with different eyes.

But first, think about what happens when light enters darkness.

Imagine walking into a completely dark room. Everything in that room may already be there—the furniture, the walls, the doors, the objects around you—but you cannot see them. Their existence hasn’t changed just because you cannot see them. Darkness has simply prevented you from seeing what is there.

Then you turn on the light.

Suddenly, what you could not see becomes visible. The room did not have to be recreated for you to see it. The Light revealed what the darkness had concealed from your sight. Details begin to appear. Boundaries can be distinguished. You can see where one thing ends, and another begins. You can recognize what is around you, understand where you are standing, and determine where you need to go.

This gives us a simple picture of what spiritual Light does within us. Truths can lie directly before us, but without Light we may never see those truths. We can read words without perceiving what they contain. We can encounter the same Scriptures repeatedly and remain unaware of connections that have been sitting before us the entire time. Then understanding enters, and suddenly we see what we could not see before.

The Light comes on within us.

This is enlightenment. Spiritual Light opens the mind and the inner person to receive understanding that could not be perceived while we remained in darkness. It gives us spiritual sight—the ability to look beyond the outward, physical appearance of something and begin to perceive its spiritual meaning, its inner reality, its Divine order, and the connections hidden within it.

This is why Scripture tells us:

“The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.”Psalm 119:130

The Word enters. Light enters. Understanding enters.

And now we can see something else happening in Genesis.

“And Elohim (God) saw the light, that it was good: and Elohim (God) divided the light from the darkness.”Genesis 1:4

The Light does not simply appear. Elohim (God) distinguishes it from the darkness. Light and darkness are no longer left without distinction; a division is established between them. What illuminates is distinguished from what obscures.

And then:

“And Elohim (God) called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night.”Genesis 1:5

Now everything we uncovered beneath the Sixth Veil comes back into view.

The Light is called DAY.

So, the first Day begins with Light entering darkness, distinction being established, and what was hidden becoming capable of being seen.

But this is only the beginning.

The Light Is Sevened

Now we must connect what we have received.

In the Fifth Veil, we uncovered an unfamiliar concept hidden within our investigation of Seventh:

SEVENED.

To be sevened brought us into the idea of something that was one whole being divided, grouped, ordered, or constituted into Seven distinct parts. We also uncovered another dimension of Seven: to seven oneself carried us into binding, oath, covenant, joining, and union.

At the time, we were investigating Seventh.

Now we are investigating Light. And the connection begins to appear.

The Creation account gives us Seven Days.

But we have just discovered that DAY is the name Elohim (God) gave to LIGHT.

So if the Day is Light, and the Creation account presents that Day through Seven, then we are ready to investigate something we could not have understood when this journey began:

THE LIGHT IS SEVENED.

The One Light is brought forth through a sevenfold Divine order.

And this is where everything we have learned about Seven becomes important again. Seven has brought us into fullness, wholeness, Divine order, perfection, oath, covenant, division, binding, and union. Now Light—illumination, understanding, spiritual sight—is being examined through that Seven.

What, then, is revealed through each part?

To answer that, we must return to Genesis and follow the Light through the Creation process itself.

The First Light

The First Light enters a condition of darkness.

Before anything else in the sevenfold process unfolds, Elohim (God) says:

“Let there be light.”

The first movement, therefore, is illumination.

What was dark receives Light. What could not be seen can now be revealed. And Elohim (God) immediately establishes distinction:

“Elohim (God) divided the light from the darkness.”

The First Light therefore begins the movement from darkness toward illumination, from what cannot be seen toward what can be perceived, and from a condition without distinction toward Divine order.

This is where spiritual transformation also begins within us. Before we can order what is within us, we must first be able to see it. Before we can understand what needs to change, Light must reveal what darkness prevented us from recognizing. Before we can walk according to greater understanding, illumination must enter.

The First Light says: SEE.

And once we can see, the process can continue.

The Second Light

As the Creation process continues, Elohim (God) establishes division and distinction within what had previously been undifferentiated. Genesis describes the firmament and the separation of the waters.

Light begins to reveal order.

What had existed together without distinction is given boundaries. Above and below become distinguishable. Structure begins to appear.

Spiritually, enlightenment does something similar within us. Understanding teaches us to distinguish. We begin separating what we once confusingly put together. We learn that two things can appear similar and yet belong to different orders. We develop discernment—the ability to recognize differences that darkness did not allow us to see.

The Second Light, therefore, brings us into DISTINCTION.

First, we see. Then we learn to distinguish what we see.

The Third Light

The Creation process continues, and what had been beneath the waters begins to appear. Dry land emerges, and from that land comes vegetation, seed, and fruit.

Something once concealed is now brought forth.

And notice the pattern: the Light first enabled sight; distinction followed; and now something hidden begins to emerge and become productive.

The Third Light, therefore, introduces another movement: BRING FORTH.

Enlightenment is not complete when we simply know something. Understanding must eventually produce something. Knowledge received inwardly begins to manifest outwardly. Seed produces according to what is within it. What has been illuminated begins to bear fruit.

Seven Lights of Creation showing illumination, distinction, bringing forth, recognition, multiplication, reflecting the Divine image, and the Seventh Light of Sabbath completion and rest.
The One Light is revealed through Seven.

The Fourth Light

Now, and only now, the Creation account brings us to Genesis 1:14:

“And Elohim (God) said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven…”

Here, the investigation changes again.

The text introduces lights connected with signs, appointed times, days, and years. What we uncovered beneath an earlier veil returns, but this time we see it from the perspective of Light.

The Light is not simply illuminating. Light now becomes connected with recognition. In this light, Yahweh’s appointed times can be recognized, and Divine Order can be observed. These are all parts of Light: Spiritual Illumination.

The Fourth Light therefore brings us toward: RECOGNIZE.

We first learned to see. Then to distinguish. Then to bring forth.

Now we begin to recognize Divine order and sacred appointment.

The Fifth Light

As the process continues, life fills the waters and the heavens. What was prepared begins to become filled with living creatures, movement, multiplication, and abundance.

The movement is no longer simply formation. Life is expanding within what has been ordered.

The Fifth Light, therefore, brings us into MULTIPLY.

What receives Divine order is not intended to remain barren. What has been illuminated, distinguished, brought forth, and recognized begins to increase.

Spiritual understanding should do the same. Light received within us should produce more Light, deeper understanding, greater wisdom, and a life increasingly capable of expressing what has been received.

The Sixth Light

Then comes the creation of man—male and female—in the image and likeness of Elohim (God).

Now the process reaches something we have already encountered in our investigation of The Sacred Full One.

The image appears. Light allows us to see the image.

The spiritual and physical meet within the manifested person. What belongs to the Divine is to become expressed within the natural world through the image that bears the likeness of its Source.

The Sixth Light, therefore, brings us into: IMAGE.

We have moved from seeing to distinguishing, from distinguishing to bringing forth, from bringing forth to recognizing, from recognizing to multiplying—and now what has been established is brought toward Divine expression through the image.

But the Creation process has not yet reached Seven.

There is still another Light.

The Seventh Light

And now we arrive at the question that has been waiting behind all Seven Veils.

If DAY is the name given to LIGHT, and the Creation process has been sevened, then the Seventh Day requires us to ask:

What is the Seventh Light?

Genesis tells us that when the Seventh arrives, the work is finished. Elohim (God) ceases from His work, blesses the Seventh Day, and sanctifies it.

The Seventh, therefore, brings us back to everything we uncovered within The Sacred Full One:

Fullness. Wholeness. Completion. Divine order. Perfection. Rest.

And something else: RETURN.

The Seventh Light is where the process reaches the fullness for which it was established. What began in darkness has passed through illumination, distinction, manifestation, recognition, multiplication, and Divine image, and now the whole reaches the place of rest and sacred wholeness.

But Scripture gives us another clue that we cannot overlook.

Throughout the Bible, Light repeatedly appears in Seven.

The Tabernacle contains the sevenfold lampstand, whose lamps give light before Yahweh. Zechariah sees a lampstand with seven lamps, and later encounters the imagery of seven eyes. Revelation presents seven lampstands, seven lamps of fire, the seven Spirits of Elohim (God), and again seven eyes.

Why does Light repeatedly appear in Seven?

That question brings us directly back to: SEVENED.

The imagery continually places before us Light expressed through Seven. Distinct lights appear, yet they belong within a complete sevenfold order. This gives us another biblical pattern to investigate alongside the Seven Days: one Divine order of Light expressed through Seven.

And Sevened carries another meaning we cannot forget.

It is not only division. It is also binding. Oath. Covenant. Joining. Union.

So, the mystery of the Seven Lights gives us both distinction and unity. The Light can be distinguished through the Seven, while the Seven remain joined within the One Divine order.

And this brings us back to the Sabbath.

The Seventh Is Set Apart

Genesis tells us something very specific about the Seventh:

“And Elohim (God) blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which Elohim (God) created and made.”Genesis 2:3

The Seventh is sanctified. It is made holy, consecrated, and set apart.

But after everything we have uncovered about Seven, we can no longer be satisfied with simply saying “set apart” and moving on. Something in those words deserves investigation.

To set something means to place, establish, appoint, or position it. To set something apart means to distinguish it, separate it, or place it away from the others. But the history of the word apart takes us even deeper. Apart comes through Old French a part, meaning “to the side.” This comes from language literally built around the idea that "a part" means a portion or piece belonging to something larger.

And now we need to investigate the word "PART".

The Online Etymology Dictionary traces part to meanings including “division, portion of a whole, element or constituent.” Its Old French history also includes share, portion, character, power, dominion, side, way, and path.

Those meanings should sound very different to us now.

A part is not the entire whole. It is a portion of the whole. A part exists because something can be distinguished or divided within something larger. A part can be an element or constituent of that larger whole. However, the history of these words also helps us understand “a part” through meanings such as “to share, character, power, dominion, way, and path.”

Now return to everything we have uncovered about SEVENED.

Seven-part Creation wheel with the Seventh Sabbath portion radiant at the top, surrounded by the seven Spirits of Yahweh before the throne and the Tetragrammaton above.
The Seventh is blessed, sanctified, and set apart.

To be sevened is to take what was One and understand it through Seven distinguishable parts. And once we discovered that DAY is the name Elohim (God) gave to LIGHT, the Seven Days of Creation opened before us as something much deeper. They became

LIGHT SEVENED or THE SEVEN LIGHTS OF CREATION.

The One Light expressed through Seven parts.

And now Genesis tells us that within those Seven, one particular part is: SET APART.

The Seventh part. The Seventh Day.

And because Day is the name given to Light, we say: THE SEVENTH LIGHT.

This means that when Genesis tells us the Seventh Day was sanctified, we are looking at a particular part of the Seven Lights that has been distinguished from the other parts and established as holy. The whole has been sevened, but within that sevenfold whole, the Seventh part or light receives a distinction that the other six do not receive: Elohim (God) blesses it and sanctifies it.

And now the older meanings associated with part give us even more to contemplate. If “a part” means a portion, element, share, character, power, dominion, way, or path, then each part of this Seven invites investigation. What is contained within each portion of the Light? What does each part reveal? What Divine character is being expressed? What power is operating? What way or path is being illuminated?

We have not completely answered these questions. We have only just discovered they even exist.

However, their very existence reveals how much more there is to discover.

Throughout this Seventh Veil, we have begun to see Light expressed through Seven. Scripture also gives us other striking Seven-Light patterns that show this investigation does not end with Genesis. Yahweh commands that the Tabernacle lampstand have seven lamps (Exodus 25:37). Zechariah sees a golden lampstand with seven lamps (Zechariah 4:2), and the vision later speaks of seven eyes of Yahweh ranging through the earth. Revelation gives us seven lamps of fire before the throne and identifies them with the seven Spirits of Elohim (God); Revelation also brings the imagery of seven eyes into that same sevenfold Divine pattern.

So we should not leave this study believing that we have exhausted the mystery simply because the Seven Veils have opened.

We have discovered something much more important:

There is more Light: understanding, spiritual illumination, wisdom, knowledge, and enlightenment to uncover.

The First Light deserves to be understood. The Second Light deserves to be understood. The Third, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Lights deserve to be understood.

And then there is the part Elohim (God) specifically set apart:

THE SEVENTH LIGHT.

The holy Light. The sanctified Light. The part that is distinguished from the other six. It is the sign and signal that told us to look, ultimately leading us to this discovery.

Now, we have uncovered its existence, but we have not exhausted its character, power, dominion, way, or path. Those meanings within “part” tell us that there is still more hidden within the Seven Lights for us to search out.

Scripture tells us:

“It is the glory of Elohim (God) to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.” Proverbs 25:2

What is concealed is not necessarily absent. Like objects standing in a dark room, it may already be there, waiting for you to turn on the Light to make visible what could not be seen before in the darkness.

And Scripture also tells us:

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

That is what we have been doing throughout this Why Seven? series.

We have studied what appeared familiar. We searched out what was concealed. We have examined the words, divided them, investigated their parts, followed their meanings, and connected what was revealed. We began with a number many believed they already understood and discovered: oath, covenant, sign, fullness, wholeness, Divine order, perfection, Seventh, sevened, Day, Light, enlightenment, and the Seven Lights hidden within the investigation.

Here, within the mystery of the 26th Sabbath Gate, the final pieces begin to connect, bringing what we have received into a fuller, more complete image.

This 26th Sabbath Gate gave us Kaph—the open hand prepared to receive—and Wav—the connection that allows what we have received to come together.

Our hands opened to receive what had been concealed, and the connections allowed us to see what had been sitting before us all along. Seven, Seventh, sevened, oath, covenant, sign, fullness, wholeness, Divine order, Day, Light, enlightenment, and Sabbath were not isolated discoveries. As the connections appeared, understanding followed.

OTH told us to LOOK.

Darkness prevented us from SEEING. Light enabled us to SEE.

Enlightenment gave us UNDERSTANDING.

Kaph enabled us to RECEIVE. Wav enabled us to CONNECT.

And after connecting the dots from what we received, we can finally see what the SIGN had been pointing toward.

That is powerful.

Closing the 26th Sabbath Gate — The Halfway Gate

We entered this Gate believing that we were: UNVEILING THE SEVENTH DAY.

But in unveiling the Seventh Day, we discovered: THE SEVENED DAY. And within the Sevened Day, we discovered Light expressed through Seven, with the Seventh part blessed, sanctified, and set apart.

We have received another measure of sacred understanding of light as spiritual enlightenment. The light in its completion is enlightenment, an inner state of being fully placed into the light (or knowledge).

Therefore, this Light has not been exhausted. We have only been given a very small portion. There is still more concealed. There is still more to search out. There is still more Light to see.

The Sevened Light

And through the Sevened Day, we began to see Light divided through Seven—Divine Light bringing enlightenment toward fullness, wholeness, and sacred completion.

What had been concealed is becoming visible. And what had been darkness is being received as LIGHT.

ENTERING THE SEVENTH MONTH

As we close this 26th Sabbath Gate, we acknowledge that we have reached an important point in our journey: we are halfway through the 52 Sabbaths of this year. Twenty-six Sabbath Gates have now opened before us, and twenty-six remain. What began with the First Gate has carried us week after week into deeper investigation, greater understanding, and discoveries that continually invite us to look again at what we thought we already knew.

And how appropriate that our halfway Gate has been a Gate of receiving and connecting. Kaph opened our hands to receive, while Wav called us to connect what had been placed within them.

Throughout this Why Seven? Series, we received one piece at a time. But within this 26th Gate, those pieces began to come together, allowing us to see connections that had not been apparent when they remained separate.

We entered this Gate seeking to unveil the Seventh Day, and what we uncovered led us beyond the familiar language we had known. We searched, studied, and connected what had been revealed until the Seventh Day opened before us as the Sevened Day Mystery of Light, enlightenment, Divine order, fullness, wholeness, and sacred completion. Something we have read and observed for years is now being seen in new Light.

But reaching the halfway point does not mean our journey is ending. It means we have arrived at a threshold.

We entered this seventh month through the Memorial Blowing of Trumpets, and the Trumpet has sounded. Throughout Scripture, the Trumpet calls attention, announces, awakens, and calls the people to remember. How fitting, then, that its sound has accompanied the unveiling of Seven.

The Trumpet sounded as a call to sacred remembrance, while these Seven Veils brought us back to something established from the beginning—the Seven Days, now opened before us as the Seven Lights of Creation.

The Trumpet blows a call of Holy Remembrance, saying, Remember! Remember! And part of that remembrance is the Sabbath Day, the Seventh Day.

The Seventh Day has always been right there before us in Scripture, but through this investigation, it is becoming new in our understanding. Yahweh has not changed the Scripture. He is bringing forth new Light from what was already there, allowing us to see what we could not see before. Can you see how Yahweh is doing a new thing?

“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?” — Isaiah 43:19

Now the Day of Atonement stands before us, calling us even deeper into sacred oneness and wholeness. After receiving greater Light, we are called to examine ourselves in that Light—to see what remains divided within us, what requires reconciliation, what must be brought back into Divine order, and where we must return more completely to the One.

And beyond Atonement stands the Feast of Tabernacles, itself unfolding through a seven-day cycle. As we approach that sacred appointed time, our investigation of Seven prepares us to see Tabernacles with greater understanding: Seven, fullness, wholeness, union, and the oneness of Yahweh all now stand before us with greater meaning. What we have uncovered through the Sabbath Gates prepares us for what we are about to enter through the Feast.

We have spent these Sabbath Gates investigating Seven, sacred time, signs, appointed times, oath, covenant, fullness, wholeness, Divine order, and Light. Now our journey carries us directly into the seventh month, where Yahweh’s appointed High Holy times call us to gather, remember, examine, return, and dwell according to the sacred order He established.

There is something particularly meaningful about where we now stand. At the halfway point of our 52 Sabbath Gates, we have completed the Seven Veils and are entering the seventh solar month. One part of our journey has reached its fullness, while another prepares to open.

So, we do not leave this Gate with our hands closed. Our hands remain open.

We remain prepared to receive. We remain willing to connect.

And we carry forward the Light and understanding that have been revealed, knowing that every Gate is preparing us to see something we could not see before.

We have reached the halfway mark for our 52 yearly Sabbaths.

We have unveiled the Seven Veils.

We have entered more deeply into the mystery of Seven.

And now, as the 26th Sabbath Gate closes, the seventh month stands before us.

THE JOURNEY CONTINUES

This teaching is part of the ongoing 52-Week Sabbath Mysteries Series, a sacred journey of discovery into the deeper meaning, purpose, patterns, and mysteries of the Sabbath.

Each Gate opens another layer of understanding, revealing what has been present within Scripture all along and inviting us to continue searching, studying, connecting, and receiving the Light Yahweh is bringing forth.

As we continue our journey through the seventh month, look ahead and prepare for Yahweh’s upcoming High Holy Days—His appointed times.

DAY OF ATONEMENT

Monday, September 21, 2026

Seventh Month — Day Ten

The Day of Atonement calls us into examination, reconciliation, return, oneness, and sacred alignment with Yahweh. Having received greater Light, we are invited to look within that Light and allow Yahweh to reveal what must be reconciled, restored, and brought back into Divine order.

FEAST OF TABERNACLES

Saturday, September 26 through Friday, October 2, 2026

Seventh Month — Days Fifteen through Twenty-One

The Feast of Tabernacles carries us even deeper into the mystery of Seven, fullness, wholeness, dwelling, union, and the oneness of Yahweh. As this seven-day appointed time approaches, prepare to gather, dwell, learn, rejoice, and enter more deeply into the sacred order Yahweh established.

The journey continues.

The Light continues.

And there is still more to discover.

COME, LET US GO UP TO THE MOUNTAIN OF YAHWEH

Isaiah 2:2–3

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of Yahweh’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh, to the house of the Elohim (God) of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem.”

Micah 4:1–2

“But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of Yahweh shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.

And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh, and to the house of the Elohim (God) of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem.”
