Time does not begin randomly—it must be set in order. The first Sabbath of Abib reveals how Yahweh establishes the beginning of the year and aligns His people with the rhythm of sacred time.

The Sabbath is not simply rest — it is a return to the Breath of Yahweh. From Genesis 2:7 to Psalm 104:29–30, Scripture reveals that life begins with divine breath, functions through Spirit, and is restored through sacred rhythm. When the Sabbath is honored in truth, breath deepens, stillness returns, and what was scattered gathers back into wholeness.

The Sabbath was marked, blessed, and sanctified before law, before Israel, and before sin. To be marked by Yahweh is to bear His signature—boundary, distinction, and consent. The Sabbath is called a sign (oth), meaning a signal and an agreement to come. It is not a rule regulating behavior, but a gate governing access. This is why confusion follows Sabbath loss: time fractures before people do.
