Time is one of the most powerful forces in existence. It governs the natural world, the cycles of life, and even spiritual observances. But have you ever questioned whether the calendar you follow today is aligned with YHWH’s divine order?
The Gregorian calendar, the one most of the world follows today, was not established by YHWH. Instead, it was created by Pope Gregory XIII in 1582, building on the earlier Julian calendar set by Julius Caesar in 46 BCE. The primary reason for the reform? To correct the drifting of Easter away from the supposed spring equinox date that the Council of Nicaea (325 CE) had set for its calculation.
But here’s the truth: YHWH never instructed His people to follow man-made calendars. The ancient Hebrews kept time by the sun, not by an artificial system controlled by emperors and religious councils.
The Purpose Behind the Gregorian Calendar
📖 Daniel 7:25 (KJV): “And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws...”
The Gregorian calendar was created to correct inaccuracies in the Julian system. Here’s what changed:
The Julian calendar assumed a year was 365.25 days, but the actual solar year is 365.2422 days.
This small error caused time to drift by about 11 minutes per year, making the calendar fall 10 days out of sync over 1,600 years.
Pope Gregory XIII removed 10 days from October 1582 to fix the drift and introduced a new leap year rule to improve accuracy.
The goal? To restore Easter’s calculation so that it aligned with the Council of Nicaea’s decree, not necessarily the actual solar time.

The ancient Hebrews did not use a Roman calendar system, they followed YHWH’s creation cycle, using the sun to track time as instructed by YHWH.

Unlike the Gregorian system, which forces time into an artificial structure, YHWH’s Solar Time
Calendar follows these natural laws:
The year begins with the Equilux, when the day and night are perfectly equal (not the man-made Vernal Equinox date of March 21st).
Every month has 30 days, aligning with the sun’s movement.
The year consists of 12 months (360 days) + 5 seasonal transition days (total 365 days).
The weekly Sabbath is calculated from the first day of the year (Abib 1), ensuring perfect alignment with YHWH’s time.
This system ensures that all of YHWH’s Holy Days and Sabbaths are properly observed in alignment with creation.
Secret Revelation: The Deception of False Timekeeping
The Gregorian calendar is part of a global deception that disconnects people from YHWH’s true timing.
📖 Isaiah 24:5 (KJV): “The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.”
By following the Gregorian system, most of the world unknowingly follows man-made traditions instead of YHWH’s instructions.
This system ensures that YHWH’s true Holy Days are obscured, making it difficult for people to honor Him correctly.
The Gregorian calendar was specifically designed to align with the Roman observances, not YHWH’s commands.
If we are to return to true worship, we must return to YHWH’s calendar.
